Activities

Research topics

Research activity is principally conducted in theoretical (decision, game, social choice and general equilibrium theories) and applied microeconomics (economics of development, labour, family, transport, taxation, education, inequalities and competition), international economics (monetary policy and international trade), finance (market finance and corporate finance) and marketing.
The team develops models to explain economic phenomena in these various fields, and methods for estimating these models. The research topics are broadly guided by issues of economic policies.
The laboratory’s research activities can be grouped into 6 areas:

  1. Foundations of microeconomic analysis: decision, social choice and games theories

  2. Households, work and well-being: family, inequalities, health and taxation economics

  3. Macroeconomics and international economics: international trade, open macroeconomics, macroeconomics in closed economies, institutions and economic policy

  4. Risk and finance

  5. Marketing and management

  6. History of economic thought
