HRS4R
CY Cergy Paris University is working to improve its HR policy and is implementing a continuous improvement plan for the human resources strategy for researchers.
CY Cergy Paris University received the “HR Excellence in Research” label for excellence from the European Commission, following its implementation of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) process.
This label rewards CY Cergy Paris University for its researcher recruitment and reception improvement process, within the framework of the institution’s human resources strategy, designed to strengthen its appeal and international standing. By playing a proactive role in this certification process, the institution is contributing to the creation of the European research space.
This quality process is based on two fundamental documents that present the principles, requirements, roles, responsibilities and obligations of researchers, their employers and funders:
The Charter and the Code are broken down into 40 points divided into 4 categories.
- Ethical and professional aspects
- Recruitment
- Working conditions and social security
- Training
After performing a self-assessment and an analysis of the differences between our practices and the Charter and the Code, the institution proposes an action plan to improve its HR strategy.
The HRS4R quality process is a long-term commitment, encompassing a number of phases. The last phase will be completed in February 2027, consisting of an assessment by external peers from the European Commission.
