Joining with EUTOPIA
As a founding member of EUTOPIA, CY Cergy Paris University is helping to build the European university of the future.
EUTOPIA at CY Cergy Paris University
EUTOPIA is an alliance of ten European universities and six universities outside Europe (Morocco, South Africa, Australia, South Korea, USA, Columbia). These universities are committed to mutual development through increased cross-border cooperation thanks to shared research infrastructure and teaching resources, and increased exchanges in every field, among others.
EUTOPIA prepares member institutions to tackle the difficulties of the contemporary world, and the world of the near future. The alliance is centred around the students, and guided by the principles of discovery and inclusion. EUTOPIA seeks to foster connection between its communities of educators, researchers and students across borders, and to transform those universities into hubs centred on innovation and with close ties to their towns and regions.

If you are a student
EUTOPIA is an alliance which focuses on the students and places importance on their independence, listening to them and offering them the opportunity to gain new experiences in their field of interest, to collaborate within an interdisciplinary approach with educators and students from European countries and beyond, and to develop a clear understanding of the issues the world is currently facing and will face in the near future. A culture of lifelong learning, adaptability and important societal commitments is promoted to encourage students to take on responsibility throughout their academic careers, and to prepare them for the complexities of the global landscape.
These opportunities are open to students at member universities of the EUTOPIA alliance. Some of the programmes are also open to students registered at partner universities outside of Europe.

The EUTOPIA alliance brings together an active community of researchers and young academics from ten European countries. One of the goals of EUTOPIA is to create an innovative international university environment, and to offer a more appealing, dynamic backdrop for research in Europe. EUTOPIA has identified, among other things, shared research infrastructures, creating new opportunities for researchers and young academics every year.
The resources, programmes and aid provided by EUTOPIA are accessible to researchers from member universities of the alliance, as well as, in some cases, to the six EUTOPIA partners outside Europe. Some calls for projects are also open to universities and researchers from other countries and institutions.
