Registration Fees

Please note: In accordance with the decree of April 19, 2019, concerning the implementation of differentiated tuition fees for international students, the tuition fees for Bachelor's degrees are €2,895 per year and those for Master's degrees are €3,941 per year. As part of its internationalization strategy, please note that it is possible to apply for a partial exemption (payment of national tuition fees instead of the differentiated fees listed below).

To obtain all practical and administrative information regarding exemption requests, please write to the following address: droitsdifferencies@cyu.fr or to consult the university rights.
Please note that requests for exemptions may be rejected, in which case you will need to pay the full differentiated fees to finalize your registration and obtain your school certificate.

Calendar

Applications are reviewed by an exemption committee.
Notifications of approval and rejection are sent to applicants by email from the student services office within 48 to 72 hours of the committee meeting.

Studies in France

Register for the first year of a Bachelor's degree (L1)

Enroll in the 2nd and 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree (L2/L3) or in the 1st and 2nd year of a Master's degree (M1/M2)

Visa and residence permit

ANEF 1st application for a residence permit, non-EU nationality, non-Algerian

To make your first application, you must create your file on the website of the digital administration for foreigners in France (ANEF) no earlier than 4 months, and no later than 2 months before the expiry of your permit. Complete the online application process on the ANEF website 

The ANEF platform operates on a "first come, first served" basis, so applications are processed according to the date of submission and not the expiry date of the title.

ANEF 1st application for a residence permit, Algerian nationality

To make your first application for a residence permit, you must create your file on the ANEF within 3 months of your arrival in France. Complete the online application process on the ANEF website

The ANEF platform operates on a "first come, first served" basis, so applications are processed according to the date of submission and not the expiry date of the title.

ANEF Renewal of residence permit

In order to renew your permit, you must create your file on ANEF no earlier than 4 months and no later than 2 months before the expiry of your permit. Complete the online application process on the ANEF website

ANEF VLS-TS Visa Validation

In order to validate your VLS-TS, you must create your file on the ANEF within three months of your arrival in France. Complete the online application process on the ANEF website

School-aged minor visa

You must apply for your residence permit within 2 months before you turn 18 by making an appointment at your local prefecture based on your place of residence.

Useful information

Purchase of tax stamps online or at a tobacconist's, by bank card or cash (request an electronic tax stamp "Foreigners' Permit"). Fees, which depend on the visa, can be found on the FAQ from the portal of the Directorate General for Foreigners in France.
The prefecture remains solely responsible for issuing and delivering your residence permit. The Individual Mobility Unit does not issue your residence permit.

Late application penalties: Remember to start the process early! Renewing a residence permit after the expiration of the previous one is now subject to a regularization fee. Remember to apply for your renewal four months before your permit expires.
