Application procedure
If you have chosen to complete part of your studies at CY Cergy Paris University as part of an exchange programme (Erasmus+ and agreements), you need to complete an application form.
This application form will be sent to you by email after receipt of your nomination, which must be sent by your home university.

After having been officially nominated by your home university, you must complete the 2026–2027 application form.
The application form will be sent to you by email after receipt of your official nomination, issued by your home university.
Deadlines for submitting applications
Applications must be submitted exclusively by email or by post:
- in April 2026 for students arriving for the first semester or for the 2026–2027 academic year,
- in October 2026 for students arriving for the second semester of 2026–2027.

Coordinators and advisors can help you with any questions you may have concerning your exchange programme at CY Cergy Paris University (such as the list of courses you are able follow, your timetable, ECTS credits, course start and end dates, etc.).
It is also important to contact them in order to draw up your provisional study contract (page 2 of the application form).

Information for students from outside Europe
If you are a student from outside Europe, please read the following information.
- Once your application has been accepted, you will receive a letter of invitation from CY Cergy Paris University. You will need this document to obtain a student visa.
- Registration with the primary health insurance fund (CPAM) is compulsory. Visit the CPAM website
- Before you arrive in Cergy, please bring your birth certificate in the original language, translated into French by a sworn translator.
